Welcome to the web site of the company Forests and Estates of Tomas Bata (B.F.P., Lesy a statky Tomáše Bati, spol. s r.o.), which manages the forest assets of Mrs. Sonja I. Bata. Mrs. S.I.Bata died on 20th February 2018 and the inheritance proceedings are still in process.
Through our web site we would like to present to you the assets, which are situated in the area of the Hostýnské and Vsetínské Highlands, near the towns of Valašské Meziříčí and Vsetín, and we would also like give a brief outline of some of the activities of our company.
In 2016 our company became a member of the Association of Municipal and Private Forest Owners; it also underwent certification of permanently sustainable management in accordance with the rules of PEFC (The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and it was awarded a “Certificate on Participation in Forest Certification” No.1083.
